  The customer service use to be outstanding, but now it is not. That is what use to set them apart from other similar restaurants. As far as their food, everything I have tasted is good. I usually don't like potato salad, but theirs is good! Most of the time when I call to order, I get the answering machine but if someone does answer they are not friendly. What happened? Please bring in some friendly cashiers! Also, the location is hard to find.

  The staff is ALWAYS friendly, and serving with big smiles!! The food is amazing! Southern cooking at it's finest! And the atmosphere is cozy and vibrant. The outdoor dining is always nice, too!

  Me and Ms. Evelyn will be back to try more! Yam souffle is melt in yo mouth good! No frills home cooking at its finest! Cabbage made me miss my grandma .

  My recent experience was... Horrible!!! Coming from out of town ,not happy!First off it was my grandmothers birthday. I was coming to get her a plate. Getting there I notice that the employees did look like they were excited to be there. It was not a welcoming experience(let's just say). I ordered​ my meal and noticed that the young man was giving very small portions. Customer service to me was poor.My plate sat by the register for about 10-15 min. Before the young lady knew it was ready. Seeing that it was my grandmothers birthday I asked for a piece of their cake. The young lady told me "oh..This cake old..We ain't got no cake" I received my plate and left. After that whole experience I was certainly thinking well maybe the food will be better than the service... My grandmother didn't even eat it! She told me "The food doesn't have a taste". The food was horrible!! Maybe they were having a bad day but ..Get it together!!!People don't have time eating bad food and receiving poor customer service . Especially driving from out of town.
